Condition summary
Vinyl: VG
The vinyl shows visible hairlines, scuffs, and several longer surface scratches. It was cleaned and fully play-tested.
Despite the visible marks, the record plays great overall. Background noise is minimal and primarily audible between songs and during quieter passages. No skips, repeating grooves, or playback interruptions were reported.
Jacket: Jacket is in VG+ condition with minor handling wear, spine is intact and looks VG7 as well.
A fully play-tested U.S. RCA Music Service club pressing of Led Zeppelin’s landmark second album, manufactured at RCA’s Indianapolis pressing plant.
This circa-1975 club edition carries Atlantic catalog numbers SD 19127 and SD 8236, along with RCA Music Service number R 103692. It is not the collectible Robert Ludwig RL hot mix, and it is being presented accurately as an identified vintage club reissue.
The vinyl has visible hairlines, scuffs, and longer surface scratches, so it is conservatively graded VG. Appearance aside, playback was notably strong. The album played completely with minimal background noise, mainly noticeable between songs and during quieter passages. There were no skips, repeats, or interruptions.
Play-tested in full on a mechanically isolated Sony automatic turntable fitted with an Audio-Technica diamond stylus, through a Polk Audio MagniFi Max surround system with wireless subwoofer and rear speakers.
This is an honest vintage playback copy—well suited for someone who wants to enjoy the album without paying the premium associated with scarce early pressings. The exact record and jacket pictured are included.
The vinyl will be placed in a protective inner sleeve and shipped outside the jacket to reduce the risk of seam splitting.
