Complete original 40-issue run of DC Comics’ acclaimed Gotham Central, offered as one intact collection from #1 through #40.

This is a one-owner set from my personal collection, purchased during the original run, read once and then bagged and stored away. The books have remained together as a run rather than being assembled later from multiple collections.

The overall condition is Near Mint, with the books presenting exceptionally well throughout the run. They have been stored upright in a properly filled comic box, which has kept the books flat and well supported with no noticeable spine roll or curling. Covers remain clean and glossy, spines present sharply, and the set has been carefully handled and preserved since originally being read.

This is not a former shop inventory lot, convention-box accumulation, or pieced-together reader set. These are the same copies I originally purchased, read once, bagged, and kept in my collection.

Written primarily by Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka, with artwork led by Michael Lark, Gotham Central tells the story of Gotham City from the perspective of the men and women of the GCPD—detectives trying to solve extraordinary crimes in a city inhabited by Batman and his rogues gallery.

The complete run includes the series from its opening issue through the final #40, allowing the next owner to read and collect the entire original series without hunting down individual issues.

Issue #1 is a recognized key issue and the beginning of the series. Additional photographs will highlight #1, the opening story arc, representative issues from throughout the run, spines/corners, and the complete 40-book set so buyers can evaluate the condition for themselves.
