The complete “Wake Up” story arc from Daredevil Vol. 2 #16–19, pairing Brian Michael Bendis with the distinctive painted and mixed-media artwork of David Mack.

This four-part story marks Bendis’ first Daredevil arc, before he later returned for the long-running Bendis/Maleev era. Rather than focusing entirely on Matt Murdock, Wake Up follows Daily Bugle reporter Ben Urich as he investigates a traumatized young boy whose father—the villain Leap-Frog—has disappeared following an encounter with Daredevil. Marvel later collected these issues together as the Daredevil: Wake Up trade.

Issues #16 and #17 are standard Direct Editions, while #18 and #19 are the Marvel Unlimited Newsstand Editions, featuring the alternate Marvel Knights / Marvel Unlimited cover treatment rather than the standard Daredevil masthead.
